1. If I’m injured and it’s someone else’s fault, how long do I have to sue?
While it seems simple that the Limitations Act in Ontario gives everyone two years to start their lawsuit, it’s actually extremely complicated. There are many other Acts that can dramatically reduce this time period. Also, if there are parties that do not live in Ontario or the accident occurred out of Ontario then the question is even more complex. It is essential that you contact us immediately to make sure you don’t lose your rights for good.
2. Will I have to pay to start my lawsuit?
No, if Chodola Reynolds Binder takes your case, we will pay all the costs and expenses for you. We will not charge you hourly or in any other way, unless we win. At the time of settlement or after trial, our statement will be provided to you and paid from the settlement.
3. I’m in the hospital or in some other way can’t come in to see you. What should I do?
If you can’t come to us, we’ll come to you. Contact us immediately to set up an appointment and one of our lawyers will personally come to assess your case.
